The unwanted signs of aging on the face can make many patients feel as though they have no choice but to deal with fine lines and wrinkles. However, nowadays, with today’s amazing improvements in skin and body treatments, patients can now turn back the hands of time with cosmetic injectables. Cosmetic injectables, such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, are widely used in patients over the age of 30 to combat wrinkles and folds that develop. At Sindledecker Dentistry, our professionals are excited to offer cosmetic injectables in conjunction with standard dental treatments to help patients look and feel their best!
What are cosmetic injectables?
Cosmetic injectables are special fillers and medications that can be injected into the facial area to improve the appearance. Dermal fillers are specific injections that are administered directly into wrinkles and folds to reduce their depth by adding volume. Drs. Maxine and Amanda Sindledecker also offer neuromodulators, such as Botox, which are actually injected into specific muscles of the face to improve appearance. Neuromodulators work differently by reducing muscle contractions which can result in dynamic wrinkles. Some patients choose to use both for a complete “liquid face lift.”
Are cosmetic injectables safe?
All the injectables used at Sindledekcer Dentistry are all approved by the FDA for aesthetic use. Each injectable has a specific purpose and can be used alongside others for a wonderful and natural-looking transformation! Patients will be told by others that they look well-rested and youthful and will feel much more confident in their appearance in social settings. Many of our patients who have cosmetic injectables completed are excited to have additional injections done at each dental recall appointment to maintain the results and slow the signs of aging overall.
